Why Part-Time at Compass Works
We understand that great operators do not always want traditional full-time roles.
This role is structured for three focused, high-impact days per week. It suits someone balancing parenthood, consulting, creative pursuits or a side business, while still wanting meaningful agency work.
We care about outcomes, not hours. Clear communication, accountability and smart prioritisation matter more than presenteeism.
What’s Different About Compass
We are not a volume agency.
We work directly with founders, CEOs and senior marketing leaders. Our clients trust us with complex and often scrutinised communications. The work requires judgement, rigour and strategic thinking.
We measure success beyond vanity metrics. Coverage matters, but so does sentiment, positioning and commercial impact.
You will have:
- Direct exposure to senior clients
- Autonomy within your portfolio
- Space to think strategically
- The opportunity to work on campaigns that genuinely shift narratives
We believe strong careers can coexist with strong lives outside work.
The Compass Culture:
- Hybrid working model
- Paid birthday leave
- Paid Wellness RDOs
- Paid volunteering leave
- Conference and training budget
- A team that values flexibility, balance, values alignment, and high standards
We expect accountability and quality. In return, we offer flexibility, trust and work you can be proud of.
Location:
Sydney-based. Hybrid working.
Why This Role Exists:
The brands we work with are navigating increasing scrutiny around sustainability and impact. The media landscape is sharper. Audiences are sceptical.
Our role is to help brands communicate clearly, credibly and commercially.
If you are ready to manage your own portfolio, deliver meaningful outcomes and work at a level that reflects your experience, without committing to five days a week, we would love to hear from you.
